The zookeeper, 22, uploaded a video to his Instagram account showing how his Mirrorball trophy and finale outfit had been put on display at the Australia Zoo, right across the hall from Bindi Irwin's plaque.
His sister, 27, won the competition when she was 17 in 2015, alongside her professional dance partner, Derek Hough. Her Mirrorball trophy and finale ensemble have been displayed at the zoo for a decade.

In the video, posted on Thursday, April 2, Robert thanked Bindi for inspiring him to go on DWTS and take the “life-changing journey," adding: “So proud that now there are two mirrorballs at @australiazoo now!”
Robert, the son of conservationist Steve Irwin, won DWTS with Witney Carson in November 2025, 10 years after his sister’s victory.

“This is Bindi’s Mirrorball and the dress that she wore for the finale of DWTS,” Robert said. “Right here is Witney and I and our Mirrorball for our season of DWTS and my outfit that I wore for the finale.”
He added: “We are right across from each other. Guys, how cool is it that it’s a very similar outfit to Bindi’s? We were pretty much wearing the exact same color spectrum, just 10 years apart.”

On his Instagram Stories, Robert showed off Bindi’s ensemble, which included a stunning off-the-shoulder black, bedazzled dress, alongside his dapper jewel-encrusted black blazer.
“That Mirrorball is now finally right where it belongs, right next to Bindi’s,” he added. “Next time you come and visit Australia Zoo, keep an eye out.”
On Jan. 8, Robert posted an Instagram video of himself showing his Mirrorball to an array of wild creatures, including a koala, a cockatoo and a snake, after flying it back to Australia.
Bindi also featured in the video, proudly holding up her trophy and showing it to her daughter, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, 5.
In the video, Grace said: "This is uncle Robert’s Mirrorball and this is mommy’s Mirrorball!”
At the time of Robert’s win, Bindi proudly supported her brother, posting a picture of them holding up the two trophies on Facebook and writing: “TWO MIRRORBALLS NOW CALL AUSTRALIA ZOO HOME!!!!
