Princess Kate has been named Britain’s best-dressed person for 2026 by Tatler magazine.

The 44-year-old royal features alongside notable names, including Bridgerton star Hannah Dodd and Gjin Lipa, the brother of chart-topping popstar Dua Lipa.

The Princess of Wales previously topped the lifestyle and fashion magazine’s list in 2022.

She was praised by the publication following her return to the spotlight, after taking a break from royal duties in 2024 due to a cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The magazine described her as ā€œBritain’s chicest figureā€.

It said that she is ā€œback to health – and back to being a Brit-fashion heroineā€ whose style choices ā€œlight up royal occasionsā€.

Kate is frequently recognised for her elegant and brightly coloured outfits.

She turned heads at Royal Ascot this year in a bold yellow ensemble and a matching hat, and wore a sophisticated grass-green dress to the Wimbledon men’s final earlier in July.

For the annual Trooping the Colour celebration in June, she selected a baby blue coat dress with contrasting white piping.

The highest placed man on the list was actor Edward Bluemel, who is known for roles in TV shows such as Killing Eve and My Lady Jane.

The 33-year-old came in fourth place, with Tatler praising his 90s-inspired ā€œLondon cool-boy lookā€.

He was joined at the top of the list by doctor and health content creator Dr Raj Arora, who was second and was described as making ā€œmedical scrubs look chicā€.

In third was British athlete Temi Ojora, who Tatler said ā€œapplies a champion’s mindset to her wardrobeā€ with ā€œTikTok-approved Y2K ensemblesā€, as well as ā€œthe cutest coveted handbagsā€.

Gjin Lipa, whose older sister is chart-topper Dua, placed fifth on the list for his appearance in ā€œskater tees and leatherā€ at the Brit Awards afterparty in February, with Tatler questioning whether he is bringing ā€œswagā€ back.

Actor and model Dodd, who is best known for her role in Netflix’s hit Regency romance series Bridgerton, placed 10th for her bold outfits which the magazine said ā€œsteal the sceneā€.

Also on the list is arts patron Batia Ofer and TV producer and writer Jemima Khan, in sixth and seventh respectively.

Valentina Pinault, the daughter of Mexican-American actor Salma Hayek and French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, placed eighth.

The director of the Victoria and Albert Museum, Sir Tristram Hunt, is at nine.

The full top 25 list can be seen in the September issue of Tatler, which will be available by digital download and on newsstands from 6 August.
