NYPD Blue star Sharon Lawrence looks better than ever at 64.
The accomplished actress, who is best known for her role as Sylvia Costas on the beloved ABC police series that ran from 1993 to 2005, has tackled a bevy of complicated roles over the years. While Lawrence finished her time on the cop show in 1999, she eventually appeared on shows like Desperate Housewives and Grey’s Anatomy. Also an accomplished theater actress, the Emmy nominee is still going strong and has recently become an absolute fan favorite on the Hallmark Channel.
In addition to her acting roles, Lawrence is known for her philanthropic efforts. This week, she attended the opening of the Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Foundation at Project Angel Food in Los Angeles, California. The foundation describes its mission as funding innovative and compassionate organizations in the areas of education, health, and the arts, while Project Angel Food nourishes the health and spirit of people facing critical and life-threatening illnesses by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care, and dignity. Lawrence looked absolutely glam and glowed on the red carpet (okay, blue carpet) during her appearance, which also featured Jamie Lee Curtis and Judith Light.

Lawrence’s Recent Project in Nashville
If you follow Lawrence on social media, you may know she spent the fall hanging out in Nashville, working on some fun projects for the holidays. A Grand Ole Opry Christmas is the first collaboration between the Hallmark Channel and the Grand Ole Opry.
Lawrence appears in A Grand Ole Opry Christmas alongside Nikki DeLoach, James Denton, Rob Mayes, and Luke Benward. DeLoach plays Gentry Wade, the daughter of late country music star Jett Wade.
According to a description, Gentry “abandoned her dream of a songwriting career and distanced herself from her father’s legacy following his tragic car accident 30 years prior. When the Grand Ole Opry invites her to represent Jett at their centennial celebration at Christmas, she’s hesitant to return to the place steeped in bittersweet memories.”
Seeing A Grand Ole Opry Christmas Debut
Over Thanksgiving, Lawrence took to social media to express her gratitude for the successful debut of A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, which is now available for streaming.
“What a way to feel the spirit of #thanksgiving. My weekend was full of #agrandoleoprychristmas, my heart is full of admiration for my colleagues who conceived, collaborated and created this #hallmarkchannel love song to family and dreams,” the NYPD Blue alum shared in an Instagram video.
