The season 3 cast includes three newcomers: Sule Thelwell, Soy Kim and Christine Hwang

XO, Kitty season 3 introduces three new faces ready to shake things up at K.I.S.S.

The original series — which is a spinoff of the popular To All the Boys I've Loved Before film franchise — returned to Netflix on April 2 and sees Kitty Song-Covey (Anna Cathcart) head back to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (K.I.S.S.) for her senior year.

But, it wouldn’t be Kitty without a little chaos — and this time, it arrives right alongside a few new faces who threaten to derail her plans for the perfect final year in Seoul.

Good thing she won’t have to handle it alone: Kitty’s family plays a bigger role this season, with her To All the Boys sister, Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor), joining her in Seoul for some much-needed sibling time, while her cousin Jiwon (Hojo Shin) steps into a larger role as a series regular.

Sule Thelwell as Marius

Sule Thelwell's character, Marius, is ready to cause chaos when he returns to K.I.S.S. this semester, as he has both a tight friendship with Dae (Choi Min-yeong) and Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) and also a complicated past with his former roommate, "Q" (Anthony Keyvan).

In July 2025, Thelwell shared the casting news on his Instagram alongside some behind-the-scenes photos from filming.

"I’ve been living in a likkle place called South Korea, for the last likkle bit; working on a show that you may be familiar with," he captioned the post. "The lessons learned will only inform more abundance in my career and life. The connections formed have not only been invaluable, but are true assets to my continued success."

The actor added, "Big, big, big love to my team, and the entire XO FAMILY— for always making me feel so deeply valued."

Thelwell previously appeared in Hulu's Saint X and makes music under the name Sule Kamu.

Soy Kim as Yisoo

Soy Kim joins the XO, Kitty cast as high-profile fashion designer Yisoo.

Kim announced the casting news on her Instagram in July 2025, writing, "Grateful beyond words to join the XO, Kitty family!"

She continued, "It’s been nothing short of magical — the cast and crew are not only wildly talented, but endlessly kind. I feel so lucky to be part of something special. and witty. and charming. 😉😘XOXOXOXO."

The actress previously appeared in 2016's Like a French Film and 2024's Sorry Not Sorry.

Christine Hwang as Gigi

Christine Hwang joins the XO, Kitty season 3 cast as Gigi, Min Ho's "first love" who has begun working for Yisoo.

Hwang shared the casting news on Instagram in July 2025, writing, "to spend this summer working alongside a korean and american crew was not how i envisioned my year. how incredibly grateful i am for the opportunity and experience, for my first time in korea to be working on a set like this one."

She added, "thank you to the entire production of XO Kitty for allowing me to step in and be a small part of it. these memories and friendships are hard pressed into me for the rest of my life. and i hope you all will enjoy my girl Gigi as much as i did!"

Prior to joining the XO, Kitty cast, Hwang appeared in an episode of NBC's Law & Order: SVU and Netflix's The Beast in Me. Outside of TV, Hwang has also been on Broadway, as shared on her Instagram.
