Dylan and Cole, Tia and Tamera, Mary-Kate and Ashley. Famous twins who grew up in the 1990s were destined to have more than their fair share of matching moments.

The Olsens, who turn 40 on June 13, 2026, started acting together at just six months old, both playing Michelle Tanner on Full House. As they grew, so did their fame — and their coordinating wardrobes. But let's never forget that depending on who you asked, "I am the cute one, she's just my sister."

Audiences first met the Olsen twins when they joined the cast of Full House as Michelle Tanner at just 6 months old. Though they're fraternal twins, they looked so much alike that they doubled as the same character.

The girls were matching head-to-toe at the 60th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade in their red dresses, white tights and high ponytails. (Those scrunchies!)

Their high ponytails became a signature of sorts for the pint-sized actresses who rocked the hairdo along with their corresponding denim dresses at a convention in 1993.

In the same vein, when the sisters greeted fans to autograph copies of their The Adventure of Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen books in 1998, one sported a sapphire Dupioni silk blazer while the other sported the same jacket in sepia.

While both rocking incredible pairs of shades, the two wore the same floral dress — one in black and one in white — at the Audrey Hepburn Hollywood for Children Family Film Festival in New York City in 1997.

Just a few months after their 13th birthday, the sisters got matching flippy bobs to attend the premiere of Anna and the King in matching pearl necklaces, black cardigans and fringed skirts — one lavender, one pink.
