Mark Ruffalo shared a throwback wedding photo to celebrate 26 years of marriage with his wife Sunrise Coigney

The couple, who met in 1998, share three children together: Keen, 23, Bella, 21, and Odette, 18

Ruffalo has called Coigney his "best friend" and shared heartfelt tributes to her on social media over the years

Mark Ruffalo is marking 26 years of marriage with his wife, Sunrise Coigney.

On Thursday, June 11, the Poor Things actor, 58, paid tribute to his other half, 53, on Instagram with a throwback photo from their wedding day and a more recent snap.

"Happy 26th Anniversary. I love you like crazy," Ruffalo captioned the pictures.

The first photo saw the pair snapping a selfie as they sat outdoors in matching blue jackets, while the shot from their nuptials showed the couple posing on a lawn in front of where their ceremony had taken place.

Coigney wore a strapless white gown and held a bouquet of white roses, while Ruffalo sported a black suit with a pastel orange tie.

Sharing the post on her Instagram Stories, Coigney wrote, "Happy 26 anniversary ❤️."

"Love you two ❤️❤️❤️," Natalie Portman, Ruffalo's Good Sex costar, wrote in the comments section of Ruffalo's post. "Happy anniversary babies ❤️," added Julianne Moore, whom collaborated with Ruffalo on 2010's The Kids Are All Right and 2008's Blindness.

Ruffalo and Coigney tied the knot on June 11, 2000, after first meeting in 1998 in Los Angeles.

They went on to welcome their first child, son Keen, a year later, followed by daughters Bella and Odette in 2005 and 2007, respectively.

In 2017, Ruffalo told Men's Journal that it was love at first sight for him when it came to Coigney.

"I saw her and was like, I'm going to marry that girl," he told the outlet.

Six years later, in 2023, Rufallo called Coigney — a former actress and New York retail store owner — his "best friend."

In a touching tribute on Instagram for Coiney's 51st birthday, the 13 Going on 30 star wrote that his wife was "my partner in all, the most fun and exciting person I have ever known," alongside a series of adorable photos of the pair.
