Love Island USA season 8 is already delivering heartbreak, bombshell twists and a little sibling rivalry.

Kenzie Annis, a nursing school graduate from Kennesaw, Ga., found herself single and vulnerable after her partner, Zach Georgiou, chose to pursue a connection with bombshell Kayda Bosse during the season's dramatic opening episodes.

The tension began at the end of the season premiere when two bombshells, Kayda and Gabriel, arrived at the villa with the power to immediately shake up existing couples.

The pair wasted little time making their presence known. Gabriel explored connections with Beatriz and Trinity, while Kayda set her sights on Bryce and Zach. By the end of the surprise twist, the bombshells had each walked away with two potential romantic interests, leaving several Islanders scrambling to figure out where they stood.

Among those most affected was Kenzie, whose connection with Zach appeared increasingly uncertain after he caught Kayda's attention. The fallout from the twist carried into episode 2, where Zach ultimately chose to pursue the newcomer, leaving Kenzie single.

Kenzie brushed off Zach's rejection during a conversation with Melanie Moreno. "I'm so over it," she said, adding that he wanted "a girl with dark hair and there she is."

Though she admitted the situation was "a s----y feeling," Kenzie maintained she wasn't especially upset because she wasn't "100 percent turned on" by him. She then took a playful jab at Zach, saying his brother Charlie was "a ton f---ing cuter."

Charlie later joined the conversation himself, posting on Threads after the episode aired: "Dw Kenzie big bro will take care of you."

Zach is the younger brother of Charlie Georgiou, who appeared on Love Island USA season 7. In a promotional video ahead of season 8, Zach, who is from Birmingham, England, joked that he was hoping to "do better" on the show than his brother did.

Charlie entered the Love Island USA villa as a bombshell during season 7 and quickly formed a connection with Hannah Fields. Their relationship appeared to be gaining momentum before viewers paired Hannah with bombshell Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez, leaving Charlie vulnerable.

His time in the villa came to an end after he received the most votes from fellow Islanders.
