Green Day kicked off Super Bowl LX weekend with a performance at a FanDuel and Spotify pre-party on Friday, Feb. 6, and they wasted no time taking shots at President Donald Trump and the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

“I have a message for ICE agents, wherever you are,” said lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong, who was joined onstage at San Francisco’s Pier 29 by bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “Quit your s–tty a– job."

"Quit that s–tty job you have," the Bay Area-based rocker continued. "Because when this is over — and it will be over at some point in time — [United States Secretary of Homeland Security] Kristi Noem, [United States Homeland Security Advisor] Stephen Miller, [Vice President]J.D. Vance, Donald Trump, they’re going to drop you like a bad f—g habit.”

The criticism, which is nothing new for the band, comes amid protests in Minnesota surrounding the ICE-related deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Throughout the night, they took several opportunities to switch out lyrics to draw attention to other complaints they have about the current state of the world.

During the opening of "Holiday," they replaced the lyric “the representative from California has the floor," with “the representative from Epstein Island has the floor" in reference to millions of concerning emails and documents released from the files of Jeffrey Epstein. Armstrong later changed the words to “Jesus of Suburbia" to include “We are the kids of war and peace from Minnesota to the Middle East."

The "American Idiot" performers are set to open Super Bowl LX on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Trump was not pleased with the announcement of their performance, or the news that Bad Bunny would take the stage for the Halftime Show.

“I’m anti-them,” he told the New York Post on Jan. 24 while insisting he will not be tuning in. “I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.”

Green Day will take the state to open the big game at 3 p.m. PT/ 6 p.m. ET on Feb. 8.
