Gabrielle Union might just be the G.O.A.T. of mother-daughter red carpet moments.

The 53-year-old actress brought her daughter Kaavia, 7, to the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, GOAT, on Friday, Feb. 6 — and the duo rocked coordinated ensembles on the red carpet.

Union arrived at the AMC Century City 15 in a short-sleeved, color-blocked Proenza Schouler mini dress featuring an abstract pattern in two different shades, while her mini-me, whom she shares with husband Dwyane Wade, twinned with her in the same piece, only in a different colorway.

The Bring It On alum’s dress featured a vibrant orange top and neutral skirt, while Kaavia’s featured cooler shades of blue and mint green. The pair also complemented each other in black footwear, Union in a pair of chunky black sandals and the 7-year-old in a pair of classic Mary Janes.

Kaavia clung to her mom at the L.A. premiere, squeezing her arm as they smiled together on the red carpet.

Outside of their mother-daughter shots, the duo also snapped some photos with Wade, 44. The retired NBA star wore a low-cut cardigan, gray trousers and a pair of teal sneakers to the premiere, where he snapped photos with Union, their daughter — and, at one point, a live goat, in nod to the film. He also held Union’s hand for several couple shots.

Set in a world of talking animals, GOAT is an underdog story of a goat named Will, voiced by Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin, who dreams of making it to the pros and playing "roarball.”

Along with Union and McLaughlin, GOAT's voice cast includes Stephen Curry, Ayesha Curry, Nick Kroll, Nicola Coughlan, David Harbour, Jenifer Lewis, Patton Oswalt, Jennifer Hudson, Aaron Pierre, Jelly Roll, Andrew Santino, Bobby Lee, Sherry Cola and Eduardo Franco.

GOAT star Union recently gave PEOPLE an update on her daughter Kaavia, and her own athletic passions.

At Dos Equis’ Sailgate on Jan. 19, the star shared that the first grader is "very active” in general, though her true passion lies in gymnastics at the moment.

“She's very active in dance and gymnastics and obsessed with Angel Reese ... and the KPop Demon Hunters actually," Union told PEOPLE at the time. "She started horseback riding. She's learning how to jump, tennis, golf [and] dance."

"I think the thing she's most passionate about is probably gymnastics," Union added. "And I hit Jordan Chiles [up, and] I was like, 'I think Kav is like the same height as you. How long do you think she could continue gymnastics if she becomes like 6'4?' She's like, 'You never know. She could just be the tallest competitor out there and just reaching up for the uneven bars.' She might be the tallest of all the kids."

In addition to Kaavia, Wade shares two children with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches: Zaire and Zaya, as well as a son, Xavier, with Aja Metoyer. He's also the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris

Both Wade and Union have been open about what it's like raising a blended family — with Union revealing in 2017, the year before they welcomed Kaavia, that Wade and his kids changed her entire perspective on what she wanted for her future.

"I never wanted kids," the actress told PEOPLE at the time. "Then I became a stepmom, and there was no place I'd rather be than with them."

GOAT is in theaters Feb. 13.
