- Chris Hemsworth once tried to sneak one of his twin sons aboard a flight using his daughter's passport.

- The Marvel actor accidentally brought her passport and thought it might work because the two "kind of look the same."

- "They were like, ‘That’s a boy. No,’” he admitted.

Chris Hemsworth learned the hard way that it’s important to always check your passport(s) before you fly.

The *Avengers: Doomsday* actor revealed in a recent *Harper’s Bazaar Arabia* interview alongside wife Elsa Pataky that he once tried to sneak one of their twin sons onto a flight using their daughter, India’s, passport after he grabbed the wrong document.

“I actually went to the airport once and I had my daughter’s passport instead of my son’s passport… They kind of look the same,” Hemsworth began, to which Pataky simply replied, “They don’t.”

That certainly didn’t stop him from trying to use it, though. “I said, ‘Oh, yeah, this is her.’ And they were like, ‘That’s a boy. No,’” he admitted. “So, yeah, that didn’t work.”

Pataky added that Hemsworth and their son “couldn’t fly” because of the error.

Hemsworth and Pataky, who married in 2010, share three children together: daughter India, 13, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 11. Their eldest has since followed in her actor parents’ footsteps, joining her dad onscreen in 2022’s *Thor: Love and Thunder*.

India is set to team up with her dad again in *Avengers: Doomsday*, although Hemsworth admitted earlier this year that it was a bit of a tough sell to get her to return to the superhero franchise.

“In the end, I had to bribe her to come onto set,” Hemsworth said on a February episode of* **The View*. “She’s like, ‘I’m not coming! I’m not even getting paid! What am I even doing here?’ And I go, ‘You are getting paid.’ She goes, ‘Really? You didn’t tell me that.’”

Thankfully, the God of Thunder was able to convince his daughter to keep filming by notifying her that the money she earned could go toward a new bike.

“She races motorbikes and rides motorbikes and she goes, ‘…Could I afford that motorbike that I wanted?'” Hemsworth recalled. “I was like, ‘You possibly could.’ So a slight negotiation and off she went.”
