Kelsea Ballerini and longtime loveChase Stokes have ended their relationship once again, according to new reports.
The couple, who have been linked since early 2023, have been on-and-off over the course of the past few months but have reportedly now called it quits for good, sources recently told TMZ.
In a report published on Friday (Feb. 6), the outlet alleged that sources with "direct knowledge" about the couple say that their "relationship has run its course." This isn't the first time the couple has split. Last year, rumors swirled that the couple were on the rocks and in September, Ballerini's rep confirmed the news that the former couple had decided to go their separate ways.
Then, the following month, the couple sparked reconciliation rumors after reportedly being spotted holding hands in Croatia. After some tense back-and-forth on social media, the couple confirmed that they were officially back on in a New Year's Eve Instagram post.
"Something I’ve learned this year: don’t take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting,” Stokes captioned a slideshow that included images of the couple embracing. “Take accountability, learn from mistakes. Lean into love and say it often. 2026 my year of growth, my year of truth. Starting here, starting now. Happy new years ❤️.”
Ballerini shared one of the photos on her Instagram story, writing that it was a "messy year for the heart" but noted that she still really loved love. She added, "i believe in it, i believe in him, and i believe in breaking my patterns."
Unfortunately, it appears that the couple's reconciliation didn't last long—although they've yet to formally confirm that they've called it quits again.
