Bobby Flay is once again spilling secrets about Beat Bobby Flay.

While answering fans’ questions about the Food Network series on his Instagram Stories on Thursday, Feb. 5, the celebrity chef revealed who chooses the hosts and judges.

“The producers and I pick the co-hosts,” he wrote. “I have no input on judges. They are always a surprise when I see them.”

Flay was also asked what qualifications are needed to compete in the culinary showdown.

“Professional chef,” he replied.

The Bobby’s Triple Threat host frequently gets candid about various topics while responding to fans’ queries about his popular shows.

The Food Network star was recently asked, “Are there any dream hosts you would like to have?”

“Scarlett Johansson and Jon Hamm,” he wrote on Jan. 15.

Last month, he gave girlfriend Brooke Williamson a shoutout when answering questions about Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown.

“Is it weird to compete against Brooke,” a fan asked, to which Bobby responded, “Not really. She’s fun to compete against because she’s so competitive.”

Williamson reshared the post on her own Instagram Stories, writing, "Obvi."

Another previous installment of his Q&A series saw Flay getting candid about a kitchen fail he once experienced on an episode of Beat Bobby Flay.

In September, he was asked about “the worst mishap” he’s had cooking on the show.

“When I was making gnudi they disintegrated in the rolling water .. had to start over,” he wrote. Gnudi are a type of Italian dumplings made with ricotta cheese.

In July, Flay was asked to identify the toughest ingredient he’s given to a chef.

“This might seem odd but during Iron Chef, ‘onion’ was the secret ingredient,” Flay recalled. “Then making 5 amazing dishes was Onion as the focal point.. I failed.”
