Wednesday morning’s Live With Mark and Kelly also featured “Mila and Ashton.”
As longtime host Kelly Ripa recovers from gum surgery, her husband Mark Consuelos was joined at the table by guest cohost Mila Kunis, who brought along her own special plus-one: her husband Ashton Kutcher.
The That ‘70s Show star made several cameos during the broadcast — but it was the mere mention of his name that first drew gasps from the in-studio audience.

During the opening segment of the talk show, Consuelos and Kunis discussed several hot topics, including NFL quarterback Baker Mayfield resigning from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which stumped the Hollywood actress.
“My husband’s backstage,” Kunis said. “He’s gonna be like, ‘How dare she not know.’”
As the audience reacted to her casual name drop, she joked, “I love that you gasped that my husband’s backstage. He is backstage, guys. He’s really real, and he’s here.”
As the conversation shifted to collegiate wrestling, one of Consuelos and Kutcher’s shared passions, the actor finally made an on-camera appearance.
“There he is,” exclaimed Kunis. “He’s so happy right now,” she added, as a smiling Kutcher gave a thumbs-up and waved to the cheering crowd.
During the “Stump Mark” trivia segment, Consuelos not only got help from Kunis but also Kutcher to determine which of the two statements from the at-home contestant was true: “I wrote a home & garden column for my local newspaper” or “I placed 4th in the world championship dainty contest.”

After discussing among themselves and consulting an Instagram poll, Consuelos told his cohost, “I think we should ask Ashton.”
“Babe, which one?” Kunis asked her husband offstage.
“I’ll say, the description of the ‘dainty’ thing seemed pretty specific,” replied Kutcher, referencing the traditional German street game involving a three-foot broomstick bat and five-inch wooden peg known as a “dainty.” His wife agreed — but they were both wrong.
Kunis also chatted with Consuelos about her and Kutcher’s two children, daughter Wyatt, 11, and son Dimitri, 9, whom they brought along with them to New York City. The youngsters were enjoying the Big Apple “because the novelty of walking around for them is a thing,” she explained. “Nobody walks in L.A.”

Earlier in the week, Kevin Jonas filled in for Ripa on Live With Kelly and Mark, as Consuelos revealed his wife was “not allowed to talk” following the procedure that left her mouth in extreme pain.
“This one hurts, so I know it’s bad,” he said.
As she takes another week off to heal, Ripa’s hosting chair will be occupied by a number of guests, including Scott Foley, Sarah Chalke, Jenna Dewan, resident Live DJ and emcee Déjà Vu, Carrie Coon, and Michelle Buteau.
